It's a place for people to live out their zombie alter egos with like-minded brainless beings from around the world. Find zombies in your local area, talk about zombie films, arrange zombie walks - all the things zombies like to do can be done at CrawlOfTheDead.com.

Where it all started...

Crawl of the Dead is an annual halloween pub crawl where local zombies meet up to Crawl the streets of Brighton UK, in the search for fresh blood beer. It all started in October 2005, and the event was based on a similar zombie meetup taking place in London that same October. The event was amazing fun and it was clear that gathering 20-odd zombies together in one place was something that had to be done reguarly.

The following year, Crawl of the Dead took place again in Brighton only this time it wasn't alone. By now, it was clear that for some people, the desire to meet up with other like minded folks dressed as zombies was a passion. Australia, America, England, France - Crawls were happening all over the world!
Crawl of the Dead Brighton 2006 saw over 50 zombies wondering in to pubs across Brighton on Halloween spreading their bloody love. It was better than ever.

CrawlOfTheDead.com was born in the Summer of 2007, spawned from the same flesh eating zombie who brought Crawl of the Dead to Brighton. It's an attempt to join different zombie communities around the world together to share their love of everything zombie.

Freaky geeky

CrawlOfTheDead.com is a non-profit website, running on sheer love for all things zombie. It also runs on a rather fine Apache server, with fresh servings of PHP pumping through a tasty installation of Expression Engine (which comes highly recommended). CrawlOfTheDead.com has a fondness for the nice people over at SolSpace, who know all about a place called Fun Town and the joy it brings.
