3rd Annual Iowa City Zombie March
Posted by KingZombie
Location:
Happy Hollow Park in Iowa City, Iowa
Type: Zombie Walk (No booze),
Yet again we are raising the dead, awareness and money for local Iowa City Charities !! Last year we raised over $400 & 80Lbs of food! This year we are sponsoring 1 food bank, 2 animal care centers and the human society!! This is a family friendly walk that ends up in the Deadwood Tavern.
This year’s march will be supporting the following Charities: Table to Table Food Bank, Iowa City/Coralville Animal Adoption & Care Center and two smaller animal charities I have yet to get a reply from.
It should be fun!! There will be FREE zombie stickers available for canned food or $$$ donations to a charity. Each charity will have it’s own stickers… so bring your lots to give!

I found out about your event because my aunt has attended it multiple times! I know you guys deck yourselves out in zombie gear...but if you’re interested in creating custom t-shirts to commemorate the event (and raise some additional money for your fund raiser), I’ve got a website that services Iowa City were you can post the product online and members can submit money for their shirt via the internet. This way, zombies from all over can order a shirt in advance and then you can pickup the shirts where they are made in Iowa City and distribute them at the event. The site will manage all the money, is complete free to use, and will also provide you with a list of the people who have ordered, their size, and their contact info. A professional artist works on every order and you can increase the base price of the shirt offered on your page to make a profit! Check out www.shirtandsimple.com and make sure you click on the Iowa City Location. Let me know if you have questions and have a great event!
Thanks!

As the organizer....I’ve got to be there. I can also say this year’s march is going to be better than last… they always are.
